About Tim Harvey

Tim is a counsellor/psychotherapist specialising in relationships, men’s issues and anger management.

He counsels within organisations to deal with problems (work-related or personal) which are interfering with people’s ability to do their job effectively.

Tim specialises in relationships and men’s issues.

He works with individuals, couples, families and businesses to resolve their problems.

He believes that as we understand and accept ourselves, we are more able to find happiness and contentment in our lives.

Some clients need only a few counselling sessions to achieve their goals; others require longer.

His aim is that you are better able to face life’s challenges with calmness and strength.

He believes you are best served if our relationship remains professional and our sessions concentrate on your concerns.


Tim is a Clinical Member and on the Executive of the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association (CAPA NSW).

CAPA reaccredits its clinical psychotherapists and counsellors each year based on their counselling hours, supervision and continuous retraining.

He has been in private practice for over 10 years and has over twenty years experience with Lifeline in personal/relationship and telephone counselling, and as a trainer of Lifeline counsellors.

He designs and facilitates Men’s and Women’s anger management groups.

He is a WorkCover Approved Treatment Provider (#7672).

He is a Mediator trained by the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre (ACDC)
